T is For Tea and Tranquility

Hello! I am back so soon since my last post that I am so proud of myself haha.

Ever since I ended high school in 2018, I have the free-est time ever since I am not working and just staying home to keep everything well put together. So, I decided to take a day off from staying home (if that makes any sorts of sense) and go out with my two friends to visit a close friend of ours who is working in a cafe located in an ss15 housing area. She was the barista (i think that's what it is called when someone makes drinks haha) and invited us to see her there since we haven't seen each other in ages.

Long story short, I spent 3 hours there with my 3 friends reminiscing our high school life together and just had the best of time. I am the best (worst) at telling jokes and my extra self handwritten 10 jokes that i thought was punny and witty to tell it to them. Let me tell you, they aren't that amazed and I can bet that their laughter is out of pity. But, even the slightest smile on their face can make my day by a thousand times. Yes, even if they are pity smiles haha.

Despite the title, i didn't have tea while i was there. I had iced chocolate. It was good. Nothing else to say about it really. I also had a piece of carrot cake. Super good and the size is reasonable for the price. I even got to share it with my friend. No photographic evidence on that tho haha.

Anyway, let's talk about the cafe. The place is half cafe and half a wedding planning company. It's such a pretty place and I am absolutely in love with the aesthetic. It's bright and runs with natural sunlight mostly. Theres flowers and plants hung on the walls and placed on the side tables. It has such a simple, homelike vibe to it and the most important part is that THE COUCH THERE IS THE BEST. They had a setting with a couch and 2 arm chairs by the side, just like the in Friends and I was screaming 'Oh my God I can finally live my dream to somehow pretend I am in Friends!' I was just so in awe and was completely in love with it at the first sight.

The cafe also use metal straws in conjunction with the no straw policy in Malaysia. I completely forgot and almost broke my teeth for trying to bite into it. I could've lost my two front teeth! But I am not the only one as when I told my friend about it, he said he tried to straighten the metal straw without remembering it is made out of metal and that act is impossible. So really, I think that I am not that bad.

I had a fantastic time with my friends there. Maybe if you got the time, you should drop by and see what it got in store for you that day.

Till my next post!

Which I hope isn't so long after this one is posted haha <3
